SportsEngine Registration: East Select Soccer

2018 East Select Soccer Registration

Welcome to the 2018 East Select Soccer Registration!

East Select Soccer consists of those players who have played recreational soccer and now want to move to the competitive level. The teams will be entered into competitive MYSA leagues, play in summer tournaments, and be entered into indoor tournaments at the highest levels possible. The main goal is to develop each player’s individual skills to their fullest potential on and off the field, while promoting team play, sportsmanship, and the enjoyment of playing soccer.

Lake Superior Open Volunteer Information

ESS has a volunteer requirement for all families for the tournament we host each year - The Lake Superior Open (LSO). This is our largest and only fundraising event each year. This year, the tournament will take place on June 22-24, 2018.

ESS is requiring all registered families to volunteer 6 hours per player for the event. In previous years, ESS would collect a $150 check and hold on to it until after the LSO tournament. If you completed your volunteer hours, we would not cash the check. If you were unable to meet your volunteer requirements or did not want to volunteer, we would cash the check.

New this year, we are using Sports Engine's PowerPay option. On the registration options page, you will:

1. Agree to 6 hours of volunteer time per registered player for the LSO tournament. Or,

2. Choose the buyout option by paying the $150 up front at check out of this registration. You would then not be required to volunteer.

If you choose to volunteer but do not fulfill your hours, we send you an invoice (via email) that will give you a due date for the $150 volunteer fee. You can pay through Sports Engine using the same account/card you used to register you player or you can edit your account/card. If you do not pay by the due date, the amount will be withdrawn from the account/card on file via Sports Engine.
